Weather-related changes
With the current forecast this regatta will probably see a reduction in course length from 2000m to 500m at some stage during the day. There is also a likelihood the regatta might be have to be abandoned before all races can be completed. Schools need to be very conscious about getting to their starts on time. And they need to make sure pupils are properly prepared for the conditions.
