Regatta report
The outdoor event went off with a bit of adventure. We started on the Saturday at Lake Waihola before we were blown off. We had to continue the regatta back home on the North End course on the Sunday. This time the weather was fine and water flat calm which made everybody forget about the day before.
Both A finals were narrow victories. Only about 1m separated first and second in the Open A final. Unfortunately Duffills Demons were bridesmaids for the second year in a row to Opus. In the Novice Final the Duffills Dynamos took it out by about 2.5m. This crew had a pretty good Corporate challenge, having won the indoor event the week before - so much celebrating was had by all after the prize giving.
