Exclusion
WHAK#1 was excluded from relegated to last in the semi-finals of event 21 (B U17 2X) after their boat was found to be underweight.
Exclusion
WKDS#1 was excluded from the heats of event 10 (G N18 8+) because the crew had not ensured its coxswain weighed in before the race.
Exhibition events
To fill the gap left by the lightweight doubles there will be exhibition events for Novice Quadruples.
note: if needed, gaps will be left in the schedule where the lightweight fours events would have raced.
Lightweight events
The New Zealand Secondary Sports Council de-sanctioned lightweight rowing (see announcement here: www.nzsssc.org.nz). Consequently the lightweight fours and doubles events will not be accepting entries.
NZSSSC news
The New Zealand Secondary Sports Council have declared that they will not be sanctioning the lightweight events at any of the secondary school sports events they govern.
