Cancellation
Based on the 18-30 knot NW wind forecast for Sunday the regatta is cancelled.
Reserve day regatta
The WRA#1 Regatta is now scheduled to take place on the reserve day: Sunday 4 October, at Korokoro.
Saturday has been ruled out due to there only being a short window in the afternoon between a shift from fresh southerlies to fresh northerlies.
Sunday's viability will be reviewed tomorrow. A final decision go-no-go decision will be made around midday Saturday.
Because a day change usually has consequences for athlete availability the entry system has been re-opened for late entries, crew changes and scratchings. Please make sure you make all your alterations by 10:00AM Saturday 3 October.
Call for volunteers
We are running short of volunteers. Many of the usual suspects are away or tied up with camps. So those squads attending the regatta should round up some extra hands and let Deidre know who they are.
